Unit Description

This unit comprises up to 26 lecture hours and 12 tutorial hours. An introductory unit covering the measurement of macroeconomic performance, the determination of aggregate real output and the price level, money and banking, the balance of payments and the exchange rate, problems of inflation and unemployment, stabilisation policies, and economic growth.
