| Unit Description |
This intermediate unit builds on the foundations established in two or more previous years of study (or the equivalent) of Modern Standard Chinese. The approach is task-based and communicative, and you will learn the language skills needed to express opinions, discuss issues, and debate topics of broad human and philosophical interest in Chinese. You will consolidate and extend your knowledge of Chinese grammar and the range of your vocabulary, and develop skills beyond the sentence level. You will also be introduced to various aspects of diasporic Chinese culture. |
