Unit Description

Principles of thermodynamics, with applications to simple chemical systems. Foundations of quantum chemistry: quantisation of energy, wave-particle duality and uncertainty principle, techniques and applications. Chemical kinetics: experiment and theory. CHEM 201A has additional topics in several areas and a higher level and degree of difficulty in assessment tasks.
