Unit Description

A unit dealing with the design of accounting systems so as to facilitate effective management control of organisational activities. This requires consideration of the wider context in which the accounting system is set and of the way accounting information is used by those to whom it is provided. Case analysis is used extensively in this unit. Students enrolled in AFM 416 will complete additional/alternative assignment material.
