Continuing Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Economics (pre 2006)

In 2006 the Bachelor of Commerce program was replaced by the Bachelor of Business. Whilst no new students are being admitted to this course, students currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Economics program will be supported to completion of their studies.

Current students in the Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Economics program must complete all requirements for this degree by the end of 2011 .

Course Requirements
To qualify for the degree, a student must pass units to the value of 192 cp comprising:

(a) compulsory units to the value of 60 cp:

ECON101 Introductory Microeconomics
ECON102 Introductory Macroeconomics
ECON201 Intermediate Microeconomics
ECON202 Intermediate Macroeconomics
Either ECON143  Australian Economic Institutions and Performance and
MATH120 (replaces MATH170) Basic Mathematical Methods in Science and Economics; or ECON143 and MATH101 Algebra and Differential Calculus; or MATH 101 and MATH 102 Integral Calculus, Differential Equations and Introductory Statistics
