The following summarises requirements for the Bachelor of Asian Studies as shown in the 2005 UNE Handbook with unit changes since the course was withdrawn. This information is provided to assist continuing students in the course to choose units for 2009.
Note there have been significant changes to unit codes and unit availability since the course was withdrawn in 2006.
Course Requirements for the Bachelor of Asian Studies:
To qualify for the award, a candidate shall pass units to the value of 144 credit points (cps) as follows:
- At least 12 cp from one language in Group I
- At least 48cp from Group II including at least 12 cp at 300 level;
- At least 36cp at 300 level;
- Not more than 48cp from Group III.
- Not more than 60cp at 100 level;
