Why study the Master of Psychology (Clinical) at UNE?
This course will train Psychology graduates in the professional specialisation of clinical. The program is accredited by the Australian Psychological Society (APS). Accreditation will enable graduates to apply for membership of the Society, to meet the academic requirements for entry to the APS College of Clinical Psychologists, and to register as psychologists.

| Entry Requirements | To qualify for admission to candidature, an applicant shall have fulfilled the requirements for a degree of this or another University or hold a qualification of equivalent standing. The applicant shall either: a) Have completed an honours degree in Psychology at the level of at least second class honours; or b) Have completed a qualification approved by the Faculty as equivalent to that specified in (a). |

Information for Continuing Master of Psychology (Clinical) Students for 2008
Course Requirements
The course of study comprises units to the value of 96 cp and shall include clinical practice or other field experience as prescribed by the School of Behavioural, Cognitive and Social Sciences. The first year (or part-time equivalent) is available by on-campus study only, while the second year (or part-time equivalent) is available by off-campus study only. The total program comprises coursework, research and practical work.

PSYC 513 Clinical Psychology Practicum (12cp)
Year Two
PSYC 611 Clinical Psychology Coursework II (12cp)
PSYC 612 Clinical Psychology Dissertation (24 cp)
PSYC 613 Clinical Psychology Placement III (6cp)
PSYC 614 Clinical Psychology Placement IV (6cp)
Practicum
Candidates must complete the first period of practical work in the Clinic of the School of Psychology. The remaining practical work shall be completed outside the University. Candidates are responsible for meeting all expenses arising from practical work undertaken away from Armidale.
