Why study the Master of Professional Accounting at UNE?

This award is a conversion course that will enable students to gain professional qualifications in accounting. The course is open to graduates but non graduates with at least three years of relevant work experience may enter following successful completion of a relevant Grauate Certificate with a grade point average of five, for units completed towards the certificate. The course comprises 16 compulsory units (that is 96 cp) which can be completed over a period of four semesters (16 months). the course covers introductory as well as advanced units in financial and management accounting, finance, tax and company law, auditing, professional ethics and management.

Entry Requirements

Applicants for admission shall:

(a) have fulfilled all the requirements for admission to a degree or qualification of equivalent standing at this or another university or tertiary institution; OR

(b) have completed the Graduate Certificate in Management or any graduate certificate as approved by the Director with a minimum Credit grade average of five.
