Entry Requirements

The minimum requirements for admission to candidature is a three year degree in a science related area.

It is possible to transfer to Master of Geographic Information Science candidature on completion of units to the value of 12 credit points towards the Graduate Diploma in Geographic Information Science. Advanced standing (credit) will be granted for these units.

Information for Continuing Master of Geographic Information Science Students for 2008

Course Requirements
Candidates must complete units to the value of 48 cp including:

1. EM 532, 533, 534; NR 531; and
2. 24 cp of which 12 cp must be at graduate level;
3. all units must be at 300 level or above. Permission may be granted to include units offered by other areas of the University.
