Entry Requirements

The minimum requirement for admission to candidature is a three year degree in a field related to natural resource and environmental management.

It is possible to transfer to candidature for the Master of Environmental Management on completion of units to the value of 12 credit points towards the Graduate Diploma in Natural Resources. Advanced standing will be granted for these units.

Information for Continuing Master of Environmental Management Students for 2008

Course Requirements (pre 2008)
Candidates must complete units to the total value of 48 cp as follows:

1. at least 12 cp from EM 511, 512; NR 511; RSNR 402/502 (previously EM 454 and ENVE421/521) RSNR 403/503 (previously RSNR 421/521); and

2. at least 36 cp of which 24 cp must be at graduate level;

3. all units must be at 300 level or above selected from units offered by the School of Environmental and Rural Science and the School of Science and Technology.
These include units with a prefix of EM, MSM, ENVE, NR, etc.

Permission may be granted to include other units offered by the University.
