The study core includes:

· Contemporary trends and issues which impinge upon the organisation and the community

· Planning the management of personnel and staff development

· Administration of institutional units with particular reference to resource allocation and leadership in organisational effectiveness

· The administrator as a catalyst for change, an initiator of policy development, a facilitator of professional development, a leader in industrial relations and an educator.
