Entry Requirements

The minimum requirement for admission to candidature is a three-year degree in a field related to agriculture.

It is possible to transfer to Master of Agriculture candidature on completion of units to the value of 12 credit points towards the Graduate Diploma in Rural Science. Advanced standing will be granted for these units.

Information for Continuing Master of Agriculture Students for 2008

Course Requirements (pre 2008)
Candidates must complete units to the value of 48 cp as follows:

1. at least 36 cp must be at graduate level and relating to a specific area of study (units should be selected from those offered by the School of Environmental and Rural Science or the School of Science and Technology). These include units with a prefix of AGEX, AGRO, AGSY, ANPR, ANSC, ANUT, BCHM, etc and in consultation with the Course Coordinator.
2. all units must be at 300 level or above.
Permission may be granted by the Course Coordinator to include units offered by other schools of the University.
