Overview

The Bachelor of Education with Honours award provides the opportunity for students with research potential and interest to demonstrate their ability. To complete the requirements for the award candidates will be required to undertake reading and research in an area of specialisation in either a key curriculum area, some aspect of school management or education studies. They will be required to complete a research study and a thesis in the selected area under the direction of a supervisor.

Entry Requirements

Three year education qualification with GPA of credit or better, or 72 credit points in the UNE Bachelor of Education (Primary) with a GPA of credit or better.

a. Candidates admitted on the basis of satisfactory completion of 72 cp of the Bachelor of Education (Primary) award of the University with a grade point average of Credit or better, must pass 192 cp.
The course comprises all units in Group 1; 24 cp from Group 3.
