Bachelor of Education with Honours

Why study the Bachelor of Education with Honours at UNE?

The Bachelor of Education with Honours award provides the opportunity for students with research potential and interest to demonstrate their ability. To complete the requirements for the award candidates will be required to undertake reading and research in an area of specialisation in either a key curriculum area, some aspect of school management or education studies. They will be required to complete a research study and a thesis in the selected area under the direction of a supervisor.

Three year education qualification with GPA of credit or better, or 72 credit points in the UNE Bachelor of Education (Primary) with a GPA of credit or better.

b. Candidates admitted on the basis of a three-year education qualification recognised by the Faculty as suitable for entry into the program at a grade point average of Credit or better must pass 48 cp.
The course comprises six cp from 2A; 12 cp from Group 2B; six cp from Group 2C; 24 cp from Group 3.
