Course Information for Continuing Graduate Diploma in Humanities Students for 2008
Course Requirements
Students must pass units equivalent to not less than 48 and not more than 60 credit points (cp) in accordance with the following:
(i) if 48 cp are in the course all units must be at 200 level or higher, with at least 24 cp in units at 300 or 400 level;
(ii) if units at 100 level are included, students must successfully complete at least 48 cp at 200, 300 or 400 level including at least 12 cp at 300 or 400 level (no more than 12cp at 100 level may be included)
The study of a subject usually involves a program of undergraduate units which may commence at first-year level. Students may choose units from any subjects listed—these may be a mixture of a number of subjects or study may be concentrated in one or two subjects.

With the permission of the course coordinator, up to 24 cp may be included from other subjects.
Award of the Graduate Diploma
Graduating students in the course who have successfully completed 48 cp, including 12 cp at 300 level, in one of the above subjects or an approved course of study may request that the subject appear on their testamur for the Graduate Diploma in Humanities.

Enrolment Advice for Students undertaking Music units
For 2008 onwards
Music is offering a whole new suite of units in 2008. Some of the new units have components that are similar to old units, while others are completely new.
For Students who have undertaken old music units:
Restrictions:
• If you have successfully completed MUSI 103, 104 or 161, you may not enrol in MUSI101.
• If you have successfully completed MUSI 103 you may not enrol in MUSI 107.
• If you have successfully completed MUSI 104 you may not enrol in MUSI 108.
• If you have successfully completed ASMU 368, MUSI 316, MUSI 313, ETHN 216/316 or ETHN 213/313, you may not enrol in MUSI330.
• If you have successfully completed MUSI 344 or MUCO 244/344, you may not enrol in MUSI 331.
• If you have successfully completed MUSI 342 or MUCO 242/342, you may not enrol in MUSI 332.
• BA students may not enrol in MUSI 350, 351, 352, or 353.
