Graduate Certificate in Marine Science and Management

Why study the Graduate Certificate in Marine Science and Management at UNE?

On campus study is completed at the National Marine Science Centre in Coffs Harbour NSW.

The award provides academic and professional training in some of the key topics in marine science and management. This includes updating the knowledge and skills of candidates who have previous training in this field. The qualification will be recognized in the market place as appropriate for managers dealing with marine and estuarine ecosystems. The Graduate Certificate will be awarded at the level of Pass, Pass with Credit, Pass with Distinction or Pass with High Distinction depending on the level of academic achievement.

Information for Continuing Graduate Certificate in Marine Science and Management Students for 2008

Course Requirements
Candidates must complete units to the value of at least 24 cp including:

(a) MSM 301/501 and MSM 302/502; and
(b) 12cp chosen from: MSM 303/503, 304/504, 305/505, 306/506, 307/507, 308/508 approved by the Course Coordinator.
