| Overview | The course will provide a pathway for candidates who may wish to pursue Masters studies in their chosen field. Examples of focus studies are: Aboriginal Education; Communities, Cultures and Education; Curriculum Studies; Gifted and Talented Education; Information and Communication Technology Education; Mathematics Education; Physical Education; Primary English Education; Science Education; Secondary English Education; Web Mediated Learning. The 'Middle Years Schooling' specialisation is designed for practising teachers who do not have a specialist qualification but who recognise that adolescents in the middle years have particular development, learning and pedagogical needs, and who want to know more about how to teach them effectively. The 'International Schooling, Education and Development' specialisation is designed for students to focus specifically on education while drawing upon specialist 'development' knowledge and skills provided in the units. |
