| Overview | Currently enrolled students must complete this course by 31st December 2015. This course is an example of an innovative cooperation between the Faculty of The Sciences and NSW TAFE to provide alternative pathways for students to obtain a University degree. The Bachelor of Technology is a program which offers seven course work streams which articulate from specified NSW TAFE Diplomas. Graduates of these programs will have the practical skills available through TAFE studies and the breadth of knowledge available through University study. Although this course has been specifically designed for part-time off campus study, allowing students to seek employment on the basis of their Diploma and to further their studies towards a Bachelor degree at the same time, students can complete requirements as full- or part-time on campus students. |
| Entry Requirements | To be eligible for enrolment applicants must either hold an appropriate Diploma from NSW TAFE, or equivalent. Students wishing to enrol for the BTech should have a good background in Chemistry and Mathematics. For students without the recommended background knowledge, the Faculty offers Foundation units in Chemistry and Mathematics. |
