Candidates are required to complete Core Units, one Major in Composition, Ethnomusicology or Musicology (12 cp at 100-level and 24 cp at 300-level) and either one Minor in Composition, Ethnomusicology, Musicology or Performance (12 cp at 100-level and 12 cp at 300- level) or 24 cps from Listed Elective Units in Composition, Ethnomusicology, Musicology or Performance in the Bachelor of Music component of the award.
Candidates should note that from 2009 four units of Performance will be required to teacher registration purposes in New South Wlaes. Where possible candidates should complete a minor in Performance or if you have completed the Bachelor of Music component, you may choose Performance units for your Introductory or Applied Education elective units.
