Nigel Graves is a finance advisor for the Solomon Islands Ministry of Finance, and formerly a financial management advisor for the South African National Treasury (NT) from 2003 until 2008. He spent over 4 years as advisor to the City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality as part of NT’s Municipal Financial Management Technical Assistance Program (MFMTAP), and later was located within the National Treasury involved in the development of municipal ‘budget’ regulations, budget formats and guidelines. He has over 30 years work experience in strategic planning and financial management, including senior management positions in Australian local government and a large government business enterprise, and is a Fellow of CPA Australia.
