Consultancy

The Centre operates a register of consultants drawn from within the University and from relevant industry bodies to provide expert consultancy, training and advisory services to local government organisations throughout Australia.

Some of the projects undertaken by the Centre and its members for councils include:

• advising on local government amalgamations;
• advising on purchaser/provider splits;
• advising on methodologies for local economic development strategies for local government;
• advising on award restructuring; and
• advising on restructuring outcomes.
