The specialised undergrduate award in the area of local, family and applied history is the Advanced Diploma (AdvDipLoc&AppHist). Units in the area can also contribute to other awards of the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. It is particularly suited to those with a passion for local, family and applied history.
Bachelor of Arts and other Bachelor degreesSpecific local, family and applied history units can be studied as part of a Bachelor of Arts and other Bachelor degrees (for example, Bachelor of General Studies/Bachelor of Teaching). Within the Bachelor of Arts, you can do a major in local, family and applied history and, if you wish and qualify, an Honours degree in Local, Family and Applied History.
