Beyond the honours degree classification: The Burgess Group final report (external pdf download) - This report considers the honours degree classification system, which measures a student’s performance on an undergraduate honours degree programme. All UK higher education institutions use the same classification nomenclature which is almost universally applied to honours degrees.

National Diploma Supplement Workshop, Melbourne, 3 May 2007
On 3 May 2007, a national workshop was held to share initial thinking of the Project Team with institutions and seek input on key issues, particularly related to:
• The purposes that an Australian Diploma Supplement could serve; and
• The possible content of a Diploma Supplement.
A significant number of Universities and Table B providers were represented, with more than 75 individuals attending. The program allowed for plenary discussion as well as discussion in Breakout Groups. After a brief introduction by the Project Directors, updates on the latest international developments, particular academic developments and institutional initiatives relevant to a Diploma Supplement were presented.
