The Career Development team are on campus are available for appointments. 
The appointmentsare free to all UNE students on and off campus and UNE staff 
and are 30 minutes to an hour. 

They can assist with:  
• Course advice, career planning and career ideas 
• Offer a different perspective from course to career 
• Identify the steps you need to take to get the career path you want 
• Offer assistance in resumes, selection criterias, cover letters and WorkReady

Preparation

It is good to make the most of your appointment time and preparing before you 
come is a goodstrategy. Completing some preliminary questions into career 
planning is suggested. Some questions could include:
• What type of work would suit you?
• How to develop your career?
• Employers you could work for?
• Job titles you can do with current degree
• What post graduate study would benefit me?
• Am I in the right course?
• If you have a disability, should your disclose this to the employer?
