Where do you start! The people, the social functions, the sporting, leadership and cultural opportunities are endless. The academic support and pastoral care provided is outstanding. There is a strong family atmosphere at Albies built on strong traditions and college spirit. The last four years at Albies have been the best four years of my life - I have made mates for life.

What I like about Albies!
I consider Albies a ‘home away from home’. It possesses a strong community spirit where everyone is accepted, no matter what background and interests you have. Albies has such a caring and enthusiastic resident support system – both pastoral care and academic. There are fantastic opportunities, especially through the many sporting, academic and social activities that Albies provides. The facilities are super, especially as everyone gets their own private sink – which no other college at UNE has. I love Albies because of the people; everyone is so welcoming and lovely. You meet friends for life and it is the best fun you’ll ever have!

What I like about Albies!
Albies has been my home for the past three years and I can honestly say that I have had the best three years of my life. It’s more then just a place where you can sleep and eat whilst you earn your degree, it’s a place where you meet new people and build lifelong friendships. Albies is the kind of place that puts the student first ensuring that there is a balance maintained between a student’s academic, sporting and social life at university. With the election of a new Residential Support Team each year you can be certain to find support within all facets of college life. Living at Albies will open up so many doors and introduce some fantastic opportunities within the sporting, academic and social arenas. Albies also has some of the best facilities available at UNE as well as free parking! Albies is a place that will definitely ensure your time at university is enjoyable, it really is the best time of your life and the most fun you will ever have!
