Albies is renowned for its strong sporting traditions and this year has again exemplified their dominance, with 9 teams in 8 Grand Final.

* the 3 rugby teams made it to the grand finals and won each of their premierships.

* 8 Netball teams made it to the final series with 4 going onto the grand finals. In A Reserve St Albert's were placed 1 and 2 in their grade.

* The Soccor Team won its grand final beating Duval 2-1

* The Women's hockey team made it to the finals, as did the Water Polo and Basketball teams.

Our Rugby Union Club has a history dating back to the College's origin and enjoys continued support from our Alumni and community sponsors.

The rise of the Albies Sports Club continues to enhance competitive sport at Albies with currently eight competitive clubs on the books for 2009.
