Spirtual Ethos
St Albert’s is an independent Catholic College that emphasises Christian values with a true family atmosphere. We strive to promote respect, honesty and justice in a friendly and inclusive environment.
We welcome students of all faiths although no religious affiliation is required to join the College.
Albies offers students the opportunity to practice their faith in a caring and supportive environment. We are the only Catholic residential college north of Sydney in NSW and will provide you with a unique living environment.
We are proud of our strong support network. Trained staff and students along with the Catholic Chaplaincy Team, comprising Farther Anthony Koppman, as well as the Bishop, Mons. Wilkes, the College Master,, Sr Cath Duxbury, OSU and Mr Chris Clancy, are available to offer pastoral care. Mass is celebrated in the College’s Chapel each Sunday at 11.45am along with regular masses at the Armidale Cathedral.
Our College was founded by the Dominican Fathers in 1969, and continued to operate under their direction for the next 32 years. In 2001 the College changed hands and is now directed by the Armidale Diocese.
