The Darren Ellis Fund (DEF) is in some small way an effort to remember a remarkable Robb College student. We hope that the DEF will be more than just a memory of Darren. We hope that the funds made available through the DEF will help both individual students through scholarships and assist the College with funds for various activities such as sport, cultural activities etc. These funds are important now that compulsory student union fees have been abolished.

This prize is awarded at Valedictory Dinner in honour of a successful and very popular member of the College who was killed in a car accident. It is awarded annually to an undergraduate member of the College who has been in residence in the College for at least one year and who has, in the opinion of the College Club Committee, contributed most to the well-being of fellow students by endeavour, charity, companionship and consistent contribution to sporting and social activities, without necessarily having an outstanding achievement in one field.

This prize recognises the late Mr J.D. Sinclair-Wilson's leadership of the College as Head from 1968 - 1980 and his outstanding contributions to the cultural and academic life of the College. This Scholarship is awarded at Valedictory Dinner to a College resident proceeding to his/her final year of undergraduate studies, who has a strong academic record and whose contribution to the cultural life of the College has been outstanding.

The Charles Allan Seymour Hawker Scholarships are the most generous privately funded scholarships available to undergraduate and postgraduate students in Australia. The scholarships perpetuate the memory of parliamentarian, scholar, soldier, pastoralist and statesman Charles Allan Seymour Hawker and commemorate the achievements of one of Australia’s most respected pastoral pioneers. There are a number of fully and partially funded scholarships available and are offered to academically capable students of principal and character, who are committed to Australia’s future. Postgraduate Hawker Scholars are offered the opportunity to follow in Charles Hawker’s footsteps by enrolling at Trinity College and studying at Cambridge University UK. Selection is based largely on personal qualities and if enrolling at the New England University must reside in Robb College.

This Scholarship was initiated in 1990 as an award to mark the thirtieth anniversary of Robb College, and has been named for the Fellows in recognition of their contributions to the College. The recipient shall be the resident student of Robb who attains the most outstanding academic record (at least distinction average) in his or her first year of University studies and who continues to reside in Robb College in their second year of studies. It is awarded annually at Academic Dinner.

The purpose of the Robb Rugby Scholarship is to support the pursuit of academic and sporting achievement through the fellowship of Robb College. Robb College Rugby Union Football Club and Robb College are the sponsors, and a maximum of two Scholarships are awarded annually. Applicants must be applying for admission to the University of New England for the year of the award.

This is the College's most prestigious award, and it was established to mark the service to Robb College and the University of the late B.C.J. Meredith OBE, the first Master of College. The prize is awarded annually to the student of the College who, in the opinion of fellows and mentors, has contributed most significantly to the life and stature of the College and, through it, to the University. It is presented at the annual Graduation Dinner held in the College.
