The final major event for 2004 was Valedicts dinner.
With 27 loyal college members stepping up to receive such status from the college, it was a most enjoyable and memorable night for all.

The Annual College Musical

The Annual College Musical was ‘Hot Mikado’ this year, which was a fun and enjoyable time for all involved. Whether you’re performing or watching, the Musical brings together all college members and entertains the public!

2004 Politics Dinner

Earle Page College hosted the annual Politics Dinner on Thursday 3rd June 2004. The Hon. Dr Carmen Lawrence MP was the guest lecturer for the evening, and after a few minor setbacks with travel arrangements, the evening was insightful and enjoyable for all those involved.

Dr. Carmen Lawrence lectured on the topic of
"Education: Public Good or Private Benefit?"

2004 Charity Fashion Parade a Huge Success

The 2004 Earle Page College Charity Fashion Parade held in term two was yet again a huge success. Over 50 students modelled garments donated for the evening by local fashion houses in aid of the Children’s Medical Research Institute (CMRI) in conjunction with the College’s Coast Run Committee. The committee also took great pleasure in handing over last years proceeds of $15,500 to CMRI representatives. Guests where treated to a energetic routine when mystery model, UNE Vice-Chancellor Prof Ingrid Moses took to the stage with College Master David Ward. An enjoyable evening was had by all. Special thanks go out to the Armidale Ex-Services Club and the local businesses who contributed to the evening.

Sporties Dinner.

We could not have asked for a better result from Sporties dinner this year, when it was announced that Earle Page had won the Presidents Trophy Competition for 2004. Though this was such a celebrated time, this was not the only highlight of the evening. Guest Speaker Micheal Hill also shared the spotlight of the evening when speaking to the college on the nature of spport and the changes and developments that sports will endure over the coming years. A highly decorated sportsman and speaker, Micheal has certainly earned our most sincere respect and gratitude. We look forward to achieving high levels at sport again in the coming year.

College to Coffs Coast Run 2004 - Celebrating 25 years of "Doing it for the Kids!"

This September will see the continued dedication of Earle Page College students as they run the annual 200km journey from Armidale to the Coffs Harbour Jetty to raise money for the Children's Medical Research Institute. Major sponsors for the 25th anniversary of this worth while event, New England Credit Union and Bananacoast Credit Union have assisted this years team to achieve what we hope to be another record amount for CMRI. Donations to the cause can still be made - please [ email us ] for more information. For more details [ Click Here ].

Coast Run Charity Auction

The three amigos, Sammy Ennebt, Thomas Croft, and Mitch Brodie led the charity auction, held on parents weekend to a staggering new record of raising over $7000. Thanks to many generous buyers and donaters alike, this auction was a huge success. This success was carried on to the actual Ciast Run from Armidale to Coffs Harbour in which over 30 people generously ran their legs off. Once again thanks to many kind donators this event was able to take place. This year highlights enthusiasm and willingness of so many college members in maximising the success of this event to the record breaking donation of $20,000 to the CMRI, a great way to celebrate the 25th anniversary of this prized charity event.

Parents Weekend

The Earle Page College Parents' Weekend is one of the great family orientated events held at Page during third term. Parents come together to celebrate their sons'/daughters' achievements and their College life. Events on during the weekend are: the Coast Run (CMRI) Auction, BBQ lunch, Annual Musical and a Cocktail party!

Parents weekend was a huge success this year which started out with the parents annual dinner in which the college celebrated the academic achievement for semester 1. The collge is proud to announce that during this semester iver 40% of the college achieved credit averages or higher results. To follow this, the college then held the annual musical, this year being the Hot Mikado. With a sell out show on the saturday night finale, the college could not ask for a more enjoyable show. With the participation of over 60 college members, the musical most definitely lived up to and exceeded the standard previously set.

2004 Ball

The theme for this years ball really set the tone for the evening with the Irish coming out for a whiskey. Lepricauns, fairies and 4 leaf clovers, pots of gold and rainbows all decorated our humble dining hall walls. With around 300 people to celebrate the 41st anniversary of the college, it was an ideal moment to announce the incumbent president for 2005, Mr. Hamza Ennebt.
This years ball was an awesome time had by all, so many thanks go out to everyone who helped to make this weekend such a huge one.
