Competition Results
Drummond & Smith College was, in 2003, UNE's most successful College. We became only the second College in UNE history to win ALL THREE of the UNE Intercollege Competiitons in a year; not bad for just 200 people. Our good performance continued, and in 2005 we ended up second in one, and winning two of the three competitions.
Rather than forcing people to participate, our success cam from the fact that we have fun while we compete and don't take ourselves too seriously.
Some of our major sporting teams include: Mens and Womens Soccer, Netball, Waterpolo, Rugby League, Basketball and Volleyaball.
In Cultural events we excel at: Public Speaking, Debating, Short Story and Poetry Writing, Art and Craft, Small Musical ensemble and the Perfomance Night < a bit like the UNE version of Rock Eistedfodd.
