Introduction

The Bachelor of Psychological Science (BPsycSc) is a new three-year degree in Psychology that identifies you as a specialist in Psychology. You obtain a named degree in Psychology that is readily recognised by employers and which will form the foundation for a valuable and satisfying career.

Psychology is the scientific study of human behaviour – our individual characteristics and abilities, how we act in social situations, how our brain works, and how our experiences and biology interact to produce normal and abnormal behaviour.

A degree in Psychology allows you to apply for employment positions that use psychological knowledge. Some examples include family services, counselling services, personnel management, employment agencies, market research, health and social welfare. Further study allows you to become a professional Psychologist working in hospitals, government agencies, universities, or private practice.
