Why Study the Bachelor of Indigenous Studies at UNE?

What Will I Study?
This new inter-disciplinary degree focuses on the culture and experience of first nation peoples. This degree offers Indigenous and non-Indigenous students and by distance or on-campus study the opportunity to pursue a rich and diverse study of Indigenous issues.
You will begin your study by focusing on Australian and Torres Strait Islander Indigenous issues. You will also undertake academic skills training and units in professional studies before embarking on a program of study in a cross-disciplinary area of interest in family and community or business or politics and public policy or cross-cultural or environmental management or Indigenous history and heritage.
