The Armidale-Dumaresq's Domestic Energy Committee
This committee meets every 6 to 8 weeks to discuss and develop initiatives related to winter wood smoke pollution, building standards, renewable energy, and sustainable living. As a member of this committee, Don has designed and administered surveys related to understanding the barriers that prevent residents to reduce their wood smoke emissions and change to cleaner alternative heating systems. Don also regularly provides methodological advice to Council Officers regarding wood smoke education and control initiatives.
