Mark has a background in teaching English as a second language. He has taught and managed English language programs in Australia: at TAFE from 1994 to 2003, and at universities from 2004 to 2008. He has also taught university foundation level English literacy, and has worked as a language and study skills adviser to university students.
Research interests
Second language acquisition, psycholinguistics, second language pedagogy, L2 sentence-production, computer-assisted language learning.
Current Thesis Topic/Program
Mark is currently researching structural priming as a means of second language learning.
