Overview
The degree develops knowledge of communication technologies in various cultural, social and historical contexts. Graduates will understand and apply a range of disciplinary methods for studying specific communications media (print, audio and audiovisial, electronic), the changing relations between them and their role in modern society. Students can study related disciplines such as history, literature, theatre, sociology, political science, or psychology.

Normal entry requirements apply. Assumed knowledge is any two units of English.

Course Structure
Majors: Media and culture, writing and publishing.
The course structure is flexible. Students can take units from one or more strands in film studies, media studies, writing and cultural studies and combine them with other areas according to their interests.
