Why study the Bachelor of Agriculture/Bachelor of Business (BAgr/BBus) at UNE?

UNE is unique in providing a degree combination that is ideally suited to the demands of modern agri-business; the capacity to run a business and to also have the technical knowledge to be able to provide advice and services to the agricultural community. UNE is well equipped to provide such training as this combined degree brings together the expertise of groups who have a long and successful history in teaching in these areas. Likewise the rural location of UNE means that these areas are taught by staff who have close links to the industries that may be employers in the future. UNE also provides flexible delivery of the course content which means that there is the option of studying in distance mode and 'training on the job'.

There are a wide variety of individuals who would find this degree combination rewarding but individuals applying for this degree should have an interest in technical aspects of agriculture (not necessarily a strong science background but a least maths and biology).
