PERFORMANCE 28th of September

The hoghlight of the SFK for Austin is always performance night. This year Austin put on a brilliant performance and attained 3rd place. A huge thankyou to everyone who helped with props, and to those actually on stage. Also, a huge thankyou to our SFK rep Michael Jones and RF Tom Dowden for making performance happen.

DEBATING 24th August

The annual SFK debate saw Austin face off in the finals against Earle Page college. After a very close debate Austin ended up coming a close second after debating the topic that "Print is dying medium". A huge thank you to Frankie Gosewich, Dave Townsend and Koreen Partridge for their amazing efforts on the night.

SMALL MUSIC ENSEMBLE 24th May

The annual Small Music Ensemble, as part of the SFK competition was held on the 24th. The musical numbers presented by ll colleges were outstanding. Austin's very own "Boy Bands and Girl Groups" presented us with some of those songs well as used to love (and maybe still do) and ending up coming in 4th place. A huge thank you to anyone who lent their time or resources to make this night a success

BIERFEST 22th May

Bierfest is one of the biggest social events of the Austin Calender. This year's bierfest saw Austin residents, both past and present, dressing up as their favourite nursery rhyme or fairytale characters. Austin saw everyone from Snow White, to Goldilocks to the three blind and mice and everything in between. A great night was had by all!

THEATRE SPORTS 21st May

The SFK Theatre Sports comptetition also happened on the 21st of March. Theatre sports is a night of impromptue comedy and drama as a part of the SFK Comptetion. Austin's Team "We Just won the Cricket" performed well all night coming in second place overall. Well done to the boys!

TOUCH FOOTBALL 16th May

The Austin Coys played Tocuh football as part of the PT competition and managed to secure a win in every single game for the day. Well Done Boys!!

SPRINGFIELD / SHELBYVILLE CUP 21st March

The annual Springfield / Shelbyville cup, a cricket match played between Austin and Earle Page Colleges, was played on the 21st of March. Both teams played very well but Austin was able to seize victory by a considerable margin (around 60 runs). It was an enjoyable day for all.

RUGBY 10's 10th March

Austin remains undefated in Rugby 10's which is an outstanding achievement. Austin has recently scored its first victory over St Alberts College in a long time. With three games left to go Austin is in good standing to take the Rugby 10's competiton for the third year running. Honourable mentions to "Mothy", Stu Sugito and Chris Lani. Well done boys!

PUBLIC SPEAKING 24th Feb

A huge thankyou to Frankie Gosewich who managed to secure Austin 2nd place in the Public Speaking competition with her hilarious commentary on college student beavhour.

RUN / SWIM 17th May

A commendable turnout from Austin College. Also a huge congratulations to Kellsie Turner who managed to place 1st place for the girls and Heath Milne who took first place for the boys. Many thanks to all those people who took the time to come and participate.

SWIMMING CARNIVAL 14th Feb

O-week concluded with the yearly Austin Swimming Carnival. It was a good day for all with most of Austin Participating in the mass participation events. Also a huge thank you to those who competed in the events.
