Facilities:
- Single rooms, all with telephone, TV and internet connection, and central heating
- Linen is provided and sheets are washed for you each week. Many students like to bring their own donna covers and pillows.
- All our beds have postupedic matresses, with the option of extending their bed with the purchase of a bed extension from a foam retailer.
- We are the only residential college with a fully licenced bar
- A large common room with large screen LCD TV, DVD, VCR, and ping pong table.
- Up to 2 common rooms in each block, with kitchenette, bar fridge, hot water urn, microwave and ironing facilities
- A laundry with complementary washing machines, dryers, drying rooms and clothes lines
- Pool table
- Music room with an upright piano – plus a grand piano in dining room
- Optimum study facilities – in-room internet connection , study room, wireless access in designated areas and a computer room.
- We have specially designed disabled rooms located on the bottom floor in easy to access locations.
- We have a remote control accessible shed for the storage of mobility scooters.
Some ideas of what to bring with you include:
- Washing basket, liquid/powder, pegs, clothes-horse and coathangers
- Towels and Toiletries
- Posters, Photos, blutac and pins (for your pin board)
- Costumes, dresses, suits, etc.
- Plastic cups, bowls, forks etc.
- Sports gear and swimmers
- A fish or plant
- Mini fridge, stereo, laptop, printer, TV (Austin has plugs in the wall for the aerial) – all must be electrically tagged.
- Although it does get chilly in Armidale, you won’t need a heater as your room is centrally heated.
