The Academic year will run from February 17 to October 22 and there are six weeks of holidays next year (2 weeks between each term).
Students can choose to stay at college during the holiday periods by giving notice to the office and paying for the accommodation over this period. This means they will not have to pack up their rooms.
Students may be entitled to Rent Assistance so we recommend they check with their Centrelink Office.
Fees for accommodation include:
- your study bedroom
- formal dinners (usually twice per term)
- cleaning
- weekly linen service
- electricity
- heating
- academic assistance
- pastoral care
- full use of facilities (including senior room, barbecues, music room, computer room, dark room)
- phone and internet connections
Kitchen Services
The kitchen is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner everyday. There are two options for payment:
• Pre-purchasing a loyalty meal card for $51.90 that covers lunch and dinner everyday. Then using a top-up account on your card for additional purchases such as breakfast and snacks.
• Paying for every meal as you go through the FlexiMeal card system using your top-up account.

Scholarships
Alliance Catering / College Scholarship
Value: 1 year’s college fees
Austin College Entrance Scholarship
Value: $1,000 towards the payment of college
fees for 1 year
Offers will be conditional on the applicant meeting
all eligibility requirements upon enrolment.
