Graham Young received his BA (Honours in Politics), University of Adelaide and PhD, flinders University. He has taught in the Politics Discipline, Flinders University (1973-78), and was a Research Fellow at the Contemporary China Centre (1979-84).
Research interests and current research projects related to Asia:
Main research interests are contemporary Chinese politics and political thought, human rights. Current research projects include human rights in China (in collaboration with Dr Guo Yingjie, UTS) and official ideology in China (in collaboration with Dr Børge Bakken, ANU).

"China in the International Human Rights Regime", forthcoming in China's Challenges in the Twenty-first Century.
