NEW TRAVEL FUNDING OPPORTUNITY FOR HDR STUDENTS AT UNE
UNE Asia Centre Research travel grants-in-aid for HDR students.
The UNE Asia Centre Committee has approved a new scheme for the provision of grants-in-aid for research travel for HDR students working on Asia related projects. Individual grants-in-aid will normally be up to $500 but larger sums may be granted in exceptional circumstances. Applications can be made at any time and will be considered on merit by the UNE Asia Centre Committee. It is envisaged that up to four grants-in-aid would be made each year but more may be granted depending on numbers of applications and availability of funds.
We therefore call for applications for travel grants-in-aid under this scheme. All applications should provide details of the activity for which support is requested, the amount of funds requested and how these will be expended, any other source(s) of funds to support the activity, and how the research activity is related to Asia.
