UNEAC Research Fellowship

The Asia Centre has established a UNEAC Research Fellowship scheme aimed at attracting to the Centre sabbatical and other visiting scholars working on Asia. Under this scheme, potential visiting scholars are invited to apply for support. The current (2007) value of UNEAC Research Fellowships is A$4,000 for a 3 month stay (pro-rata for shorter stays), but this figure is currently under review. Fellowships would normally be offered to scholars visiting for 3 months or more and would not include any contribution to international airfares. For those visitors wishing to stay for a shorter period pro-rata Fellowship support may be considered. Interested Scholars are invited to apply at any time for a UNEAC Research Fellowship, which will be awarded on a competitive basis.

UNEAC Research Fellows are normally expected to deliver a UNEAC seminar during their visit.

In addition, it is expected that the UNE Asia Centre address be included on any publications completed or substantially written whilst at UNEAC.
