Proposal Instructions for Intending Authors
Criteria for Review Process
All proposals will be reviewed anonymously using criteria
that include the following:

Subject/Problem. Is there a clear focus, rationale,
model, theory, or philosophy upon which the proposal is based?

Design or Procedure. Is the methodology, procedure,
design, or organization appropriate?

Data Analyses and Findings. Do the syntheses of
ideas or data analyses and findings appear to be appropriate and
complete?

Contribution. Do the conclusions contribute valuable
insights into the teaching/learning of science?
Abstracts
-
Length of Abstract: Limited to 150 words.

Titles: Use a cogent and coherent, yet concise,
title that reflects the abstract's content.

Author(s) and Institutions(s): Immediately follow
the title with name(s) of the author(s) and institutions(s).

Abstract Text: Type the entire abstract as a single
paragraph.
Synopsis Preparation
The synopsis of your proposal should be 2-4 single-spaced
pages. It should include: objectives of the study, significance, theoretical
underpinnings, design and procedure, findings, and reference list.
Proposal (Synopsis) Format
Proposals should be in one of the following two formats:
Rich Text Format (.rtf)
Microsoft Word Format (.doc)
Language
Proposals should be submitted in English.
Submission Details
Proposals should be sent as email attachments to Dr. Greg

no later than 19th April, 2004.
