Writers & Illustrators in Residence workshops
The School of Arts and Arts New England Centre for Research and Innovation in the Arts are proud to announce the first three Writers and Illustrators in Residence in the Creative Communities in Children's and Young Adult Literature program funded by the Copyright Agency's Cultural Fund.
The three successful applicants, selected from a wide pool of applicants from around Australia, are Clare McFadden, Kevin Burgemeestre, and Tristan Bancks.
They will be visiting Armidale in May and June to take up residence at the Unviersity of New England, to devote themselves to new writing and illustrating projects, and to run workshops in illustration and writing for participants from the school, university, TAFE, and local community. For the most part, workshops will be conducted at the New England Regional Art Museum (NERAM).
