Why enrol in Summer Semester?

Do you get bored over the summer and wish you could study all year round? Do you want to fast track your degree? Maybe you have one unit to finish or perhaps you’ve failed a unit and need to catch up. Do you simply enjoy your studies and want to keep going? Perhaps you are studying at a University other than UNE and want to add something different to your programme?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then our Summer Semester Programme will interest you. The School of Arts is running its Summer Semester from November to January each year. 

What is offered in the School of Arts Summer Semester?

The School of Arts will be offering the following independent study/reading units during the Summer Semester:

ARTS301 Research and Professional Practice
ARTS302 Research and Professional Practice II
ARTS502 Dissertation Unit

The following in-country laanguage units are always offered in Summer Semester:

INDN211 Indonesian In-Country Study A
INDN212 Indonesian In-Country Study B
INDN311 Indonesian In-Country Study C
INDN312 Indonesian In-Country Study D
OSLS391 Overseas Language Study I
OSLS392 Overseas Language Study 2
