Nominations are now called for ALTC Fellowships commencing in 2009. These Guidelines have been substantially revised when compared to 2008.
National Teaching Fellows
Up to five ALTC National Teaching Fellowships are available. National Teaching Fellows undertake a significant program of highly strategic fellowship activities equivalent to up one year of full time engagement.
It is anticipated that in most cases National Teaching Fellows will undertake their Fellowship between 1 July 2009 and 31 December 2010.
Maximum total funding available for each ALTC National Teaching Fellowship: $350 000

Teaching Fellows
Up to ten ALTC Teaching Fellowships are available. Teaching Fellows undertake a program of activities that address an identified learning and teaching issue within thier institution or within a discipline. The one-year period of the fellowship includes three months of full time engagement.
It is anticipated that most cases Teaching Fellows will undertake their Fellowship between 1 July 2009 and 30 June 2010.
Maximum total funding available for each ALTC Teaching Fellowship: $100 000
