ALTC Awards for Australian University Teaching
The Australian Government has allocated significant prize money for 2008 to the ALTC Awards, with 26 Teaching Excellence awards of $25,000; 14 Awards for Programs that Enhance Learning of $25,000; and 210 Citations for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning of $10,000 available. The Prime Minister’s Award for the Australian University Teacher of the Year gains $50,000 and a medal.
