Faculty Research Grants
| The Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences sets aside money to support the research activities of its academic staff. The schemes, and the proportions of the budget allocated to them are established by Faculty Executive on the recommendation of the Research Committee. The hot-linked documents alongside this text set out the schemes and the terms and conditions. Note, you may find some difficulty in using pro forma applications downloaded from this site and prefer to use the documents already circulated by email. Those who consider themselves to be eligible for Equity Incentive Grants should consult with their Head of School, who will make the application on their behalf. Note that this scheme can be accessed at any time during the year and is not restricted to the application deadlines attached to the other kinds of grants. The Research Committee stresses the importance of peer input into effective applications, and recommends that applicants discuss their proposals with established researchers in their Schools prior to submission.
