Bachelor of Social Science

The Bachelor of Social Science (three years full-time) includes study of Psychology, Sociology, Philosophy, Statistics and other subjects and introduces students to historic, environmental, social, behavioural and cultural features of humanity, enabling them to critically analyse, reflect upon and anticipate patterns of human conduct. Though not a professional qualification, the degree is a suitable prerequisite for practical training and experiences in a professional social service field such as welfare and industrial relations, and many students work in such places.
