Organic Agriculture - Research and Teaching Activities
About
Dr Paul Kristiansen been developing a range of educational and research resources at UNE to cater for the growing demand for training and information in this unique agricultural production system. With over 15 years experience with the organic food and farming industry in Australia, Paul has worked on organic market gardens, carried out PhD research on organic weed management in herb and vegetable production, recently edited a comprehensive global review of organic agriculture and is currently inovled in a range of organic and organic-related research projects.
Paul is an Advisory Board member of Organic Federation of Australia, and was recently invited to be on the editorial board of the Journal of Organic Systems, a new peer-reviewed journal devoted to highlighting organic research in the Asia-Pacific region.
Information about sustainable agriculture and a library of organic and weed management resources are available.
